This new version
brings several improvements and new tools for a more friendly use.
NEW FEATURES
Impedance data analysis

- With the possibility to create new equivalent circuits
- Parameter adjustment in the table and simultaneous graphic
display
- Eight single elements (resistor R, capacitor C, inductor L,
constant phase element Q, warburg for semi-infinite diffusion W,
warburg for convective diffusion Wd, restricted linear diffusion
element M and Gerischer element G).
- More than 130 equivalent circuits already available with an
advanced search mode.
- Description of the faradic impedance and graphic illustration.

- Equivalent circuit edition: possibility to design circuits.
- Adjustment or fixation of parameters
- Choice of the sign of parameters
- Two minimization methods available: Simplex Downhill and
Levenberg-Marquardt

- Randomization before fitting to select suitable parameters
- Data points Weight selection (1 or |Z|)
- Relative error display (Re(Z), -Im(Z), |Z| and phase)

Application of the Kramers-Kronig relationship to determine the
imaginary part from the real one (or the opposite) with relative error
display.

Batch mode

Possibility to link quasi-unlimited number of experiments with the
new batch mode.
Derivative curve
For the cyclic voltammetry data files, a process is available to
calculate and display the derivative curve of a voltammogram.

New processes
- Capacity per cycle for CP, CV and CVA techniques
- Capacity per mass unit
- Possibility to reprocess processed files
IMPROVEMENTS
Linked experiment
- it is now possible to group channels with linked techniques
- it is allowed to insert more than one loop into a linked experiment
- one data file can be created at each loop for a given technique in a
linked experiment
Power can now be recorded by the instrument upon a user request
and displayed on the graph
Import text data file: it is now possible to define new column
titles and units
Export as text
- Processed file can now be exported during the process.
- Export in the Digielch format
- Export the user’s units
- On-line text exportation for battery techniques
EIS techniques
- Min and max frequency modification during the run
- Number of points per decade modification during the run
- Delay (cycles) before measurement for each frequency
- Approximate EIS experiment duration given as information
ERGONOMY AND OTHER CAPABILITIES
New external device window

PAR QCM922 coupling with our instruments
- QCM 922 automatic configuration in the external device window

- Real-time frequency and resistance recording

- Mass variation calculation in a process window and graphic display
The current value frame has been modified and can be set in row or
in column format. The row format offers the possibility to paste the current
values to the other tool bars.

Horizontal display of current values

Vertical display of current values
For each technique the sequence table has been adjusted just below
the flow diagram to increase the number of visible raw.
Windows XP style is implemented.
The “New device” detection window has been modified for an
automatic search of the instruments in the network and to also detect
instruments connected via USB
Error corrections:
- dI/dt calculation was not properly made for the modular galvano
technique
- Potential scan label is now updated automatically when the potential
control range is adjusted
- PEIS and SPEIS were not working properly when linked with OCV with a
fixed range
- Linear fit: correction in the result units
- Mott-Schottky: surface area and mass were not taken into account in
result units
- Mott-Schottky: improvement of the points selection method
- Tafel fit: surface area and mass were not taken into account in result
units
- Rp fit: surface area and mass were not taken into account in result
units
- Improvement of the XY1 proportional mode
- Minor other corrections
